![]() ![]() BUT THAT IS NOT HOW YOU SHOULD BALANCE IT. So yes if you overlevel rather than following the plot as it comes up, have the overpowered pre-release items and use an overpowered build it is crazy easy. That does mean you need 3 with the crit bonus one, the AP one and refresh willpower. Note you are also assuming 11 willpower, which seems unlikely unless you are lvl 9 and have the 2nd wargear slot, or I guess you could take the refresh willpower strategem. Yes you can get something similar with a librarian, 2x justicar and interceptor build, but there needs to be more than one viable party. Don't have the pre-release bonus items and you lose some more. So I would subtract 4 AP from strategems to start with. I am pretty sure that you have more research on the left page of the book when doing the reapers than I had when I finished the game. I am guessing you hit day 500 before even trying the reapers? Not sure how long it would take to get all that research done. I finished normal at 540 days or so, and did not have both the strategem renewals when I had finished the game. If you spend a good 100 extra days or more doing research and leveling and not pushing the plot AND you have the pre-order bonus then the fights become trivial. That’s not even with using Honour the Chapter or my other knights yet. On top of that interceptors regain +1 AP with crits, so that’s another 2 AP.ġ1x15 = 165 damage with JUST 1 of my interceptors. Add + 6 AP from strategems + his standard 3, that’s 9 AP. With 70% crit chance almost all of my hits are crits. But it’s not the build that’s the problem, I literally just needed 1 interceptor to kill the boss.įully upgraded Destroyer of Crys’llix + the book deals 12 damage per crit, 15 damage with force strike. I use 2 interceptors, a purgator and a Justicar. There is a big difference between killing a boss in 1 round with lvl 9 guys and a ton of lvl 3 wargear, vs doing it at lvl 5-6 and lvl 1 wargear. What squad did you use? What level? what build? What items? Getting 140 or so damage on 1 turn is a lot when 12 standard melee attacks would be 48 damage. Honestly on normal I played the game fairly straight and the bosses were a bit challanging. I would start by nerfing those first, as if you just buff the bosses it forces just one playstyle.
